Yarn Along – 5/4/16

May 4, 2016

Popping in for a drive-by Yarn Along post! It is the month of the high school graduation, so we are in major prep mode!

I have managed to add to my sock yarn blanket. Mostly, though, I have determined I need to buy a lot more sock yarn, knit socks, and then use the leftovers for this blanket. This is a strong strategy, one I can get behind for many years to come!

I downloaded book five in the Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny, The Brutal Telling. The last one, A Rule Against Murder was not my favorite, so I hope this one is better. It may have been the setting. It was not in Three Pines, the coziest village in all of Canada! High hopes for this one.

I wish I had the patience for socks or sock yarn, but every time I try, I just can’t get behind the slow progress! Your blanket looks so nice 🙂

Thank, Lisa! I was very determined to do socks! I do find that alternating knitting on both socks, back and forth, really speeds up the process. And the afterthought heel is a Godsend!
