Eiffel Tower Zipper Pouches

March 25, 2016

Popping in to feature a newer shop item: zipper pouches!

I have been selling these locally to friends and at craft shows, and now they are stocked up in my Etsy shop as well.

These bags feature denim from upcycled jeans combined with a cotton Eiffel Tower print fabric. Graphic and fun!

I am so thrilled to have one of the bags featured in a giveaway recently for the Tiny Paper Foxes knitting video podcast. I really enjoy Jennie’s show about a handmade wardrobe. She talks about her life in Brooklyn and her husband participates by sharing his rare sheep breed wool study spinning project. Check out the show if you want to see some lovely fiber-y stuff!

The bags come in three sizes:

Perfect for socks or other small projects.

Shawl or cowl size.

Sweater size –  Fits 5 skeins of worsted wool with room to spare.

Bags are fully lined with a mini dot pattern and have light interfacing to help hold their shape. It’s been fun to develop this new handmade item and play around with construction techniques. I am really happy with the sturdiness.

You can find all the sizes at my Etsy shop. Happy knitting!
