Yarn Along – 9/2/15

September 2, 2015

So happy to be back to the Yarn Along!

Right now I am reading a very enjoyable book, Secrets of a Charmed Life, by Susan Meissner. It’s historical fiction set in London during the Blitz. In flashbacks it tells the story of a teen girl and her younger sister who are evacuated during the war. Despite the setting it is a light read – perfect for an afternoon break with a glass of iced tea.

The Cathedral Shawl continues. I have finished the number of eyelet row repeats in the pattern, but I have loads of yarn left so I am adding a few more for good measure. Can’t wait to see it off the needles and no longer crunched up!

The pattern is the Cathedral Shawl, by Marjorie Dussaud. The yarn is Knitpicks Hawthorne Kettle Dye in color Goddess.

I have a few more things on the go and will share another next week! Happy knitting!
