I don’t know if anyone else can relate to this, but do you ever feel you have to prove what you have accomplished while you were not blogging? And when it is mostly cooking meals, doing laundry, driving a kid around and crunching numbers, why does it feel like that doesn’t count? Only the fun, interesting, creative stuff is blog-worthy.

Where do we come up with these self-imposed rules?

These are the big questions of the day. 🙂

In support of my totally inappropriate and unhealthy belief system, I will show you something I have been doing that IS fun…

Project Life! If you are unfamiliar, it is a scrapbooking format using pocket pages and fun journaling cards and embellishments. I am scrapping Mari’s senior year. I have begun nagging her to take photos at every event she attends! That’s not going to get old any time soon!

For balance, here’s a big project accomplished in the front yard. Time for a clean slate.

Hope your summer is a better balance of healthy expectations and a complete disregard of how other are judging you!
