Yarn Along – 2/4/15

Laura’s Blog Entry

Hello knitters… and those who look at pictures of knits!

I am still deep in the midst of listening to The Language of Flowers. It just gets better and better! I love it; the story is so engaging!

My knitting this week has included work on a prototype for a new product for my Etsy shop. Not ready to disclose the details until it is ready, but this is a sneak peek. It’s my very first design – on a very small scale. Still kind of pumped that I saw something in my head and then figured out how to make it happen. OK, by the sixth try I got it just the way I wanted. Determination!

Having fun in the process. That’s the best part!

Happy to be joining Ginny.

Intrigued by the listening. I notice your cord plugs directly into a audio book. Details?

How fun to be working on a new design! Good luck! I have seen another blogger with these very cool contained audio books. I wish that my library had some! They would be perfect for the kids’ quiet time.

It’s such a great feeling to get your ideas from your head into reality. Congrats! Can’t wait to see the finished project. What kind of audio book is that with head phones attached???

It’s called a “playaway” and comes from our public library. They have them for individual audio books. You use your own battery and headphones. Cincinnati Public Library is super cool!
