Music and Some Sleepy News

Laura’s Blog Entry

Today is my husband Neil’s birthday. He is one of the most creative people I know. He can rock the visual arts – painting, drawing, etc. His day job is in computer graphics, specifically animation and digital effects. He gets to work on tour visuals for many different recording artists and bands. But besides all that, he also makes electronic music.

Along that line, we are happy to announce that he has his music site back online! Yay! The site is

There you will find many albums available for FREE DOWNLOAD. [That should always be all caps, right?]  He does amazing instrumental stuff. If I had to categorize it I would say listening to his music is like listening to a cool movie soundtrack. It evokes different moods and has some ambient sounds. If you like electronic or ambient stuff I think you will like it!

You will also find a link to his latest album, Fralick, which is available for purchase from Bandcamp. It’s synthpop inspired and most enjoyable.

You will also find the first album by our collaborative project, The Sleep. I say “first album” for a reason.

There is a second album in the works! Neil has most of the music done. I have been working on lyrics. We have some amazing contributors, just like last time, and they have been putting together musical layers that are really kickass.

All very exciting. So while you are waiting for that to finish, enjoy the access to all the hours of listening provides.

Side note, if you are a Depeche Mode fan, and I know there are some of you that drop by here now and again, he has two instrumental Depeche Mode cover albums FOR FREE. Glare and Glare 2. What’s not to love?

All that to say, happy birthday to my incredible husband. He’s the best friend in the whole world and I am so happy to get to have his as my family, too! Love you, Neil!
