Laura’s Blog Entry

Kickin’ It Old Skool Blog-a-Thon : Day Twenty-Seven
All this month I am blogging from some prompts from Jamie and Shannon Ridler for the Kickin’ It Old School Blog-a-Thon.

Today’s Prompt: Here on our final Friday of the year, let’s share a little bit about the year that was 2013.

1. What will you remember about 2013?

Our first year in our new neighborhood and home. It’s a whole new world to be in a fun and vibrant community.

2. What are you ready to leave behind?

Health issues.

3. What’s something you learned  in 2013?

Setting a clear intention is very powerful.

4. What would you like to celebrate about this past year?

Growing relationships and growing my business and making it profitable.

I always feel like every year has been the worst and the best year at the same time. I guess that just means it was normal. Ups. Down. And in between. I myself prefer the In Between Days. (Especially if they include The Cure.)

Moving to a fun and vibrant community sounds exhilarating. I agree that setting clear intentions is powerful although I find it difficult sometimes to actually know what it is I really want (working on that). I do hope that your health will improve in 2014.

It’s true that making your intentions clear – if only to yourself – is a very, very powerful thing. It’s too easy to waffle and then do nothing. Congratulations on your successful move. Sounds like it’s treating you well!

Congrats on a great-sounding year and here’s to better health in 2014. Thanks for the Cure song – <3!
