TARDIS Project – Part 3

August 16, 2013

Note: This post was originally written as a part of a “Mystery Project” series and has been retitled for continuity sake.

Laura’s Blog Entry

So I’m sure you are reeling from the dramatic reveal of the cement mixer! And even though I am quite sure no one cares about any of this, I keep going, because hey, it’s fun for me.

So… the intrigue continues… let’s see… where should it go? How about here? The back corner of our yard, up on a little hill.

Closer Please!

Thank you. That will do nicely. Can I see it with a person for scale?

Yes. Most definitely. Let’s get started!

The aforementioned, very helpful Jay, with Neil, clearing an Amazon Jungle’s worth of ground cover. Fun!

Now let’s get to digging. And by “let’s” I mean Jay and Neil.

This size looks just right.

Jay: “Do you think that will be enough concrete?”

Laura: “Yes. Perfect!” *Pops inside for a nap after a harrowing morning of supervision*

Jay’s daughter got in on the spreading action.

Here it is! The world’s smallest patio! [NOT REALLY WHAT IT IS.]

Let’s memorialize this moment for eternity!

One more preparatory post and I will reveal what the heck we’re making! Isn’t this fun? (Says no one!) Tune in next week for more!

Is this the point where I drop the spoiler alert and tell everyone it’s a putt putt course windmill?
