SOP037 – Chenille Stems and Soft Octopi

January 1, 2010

Download This Episode or Listen Online

It’s Brits to the rescue! Mari is out of commission with laryngitus, but Andrew from Liverpool steps in and valiantly holds down the fort in her absence. We chat about New Year’s, The Queen, and most importantly electronic music. Battlestar Galactica is back in January in the form of The Plan and Caprica, and the guy Neil finds attractive gets two votes out of three. It’s bunches of fun, especially when Laura’s Wii Mii has some ‘splainin’ to do.  All this and tunes by Sono, frYars and You, You’re Awesome? Jolly good, Guv’na.

It’s really sad when budget cuts force certain segments of the show to be dropped. For instance, I was very disappointed when there was no “Andrew Plays The Piano” to be found. At all. Hopefully the economy will turn around soon and we’ll get this feature back.

Thank you, Walt, for your understanding during this down economy. We are making every effort to bring back the beloved Mari Plays the Piano segment. If necessary will will reallocate funds earmarked for other segments. We hear you and appreciate your input.

When Neil was talking about the Mii that was named Martin and looked just like Martin I knew it had to have been created by Laura! Too funny! I only have Kevin Smith & David Letterman Miis.

That’s a good start, Jim. Well done! We have also added SOFAD Dave and a good ole Fletch. Need to get an Alan Wilder in for good measure.
