SOP023 – Songs of Faith and Thanksgiving

November 1, 2008

Show Notes
This month we introduce our new musical project, The Sleep. Then listeners get a chance to doze off as we delve into the history of Daylight Savings Time. And as Depeche Mode prepares to tour the universe, we honor a smart lady, discuss a creepy movie, and rate our favorite police reality shows. Neil goes where no man has gone before to find an attractive man, and then goes gaga for Battlestar Galactica’s Tricia Helfer. Get out the good china and polish the silver; it’s Thanksgiving with the Smiths.

With songs by Ingrid Michaelson, Duncan Sheik and the 1990’s that will make you reevaluate every relationship you’ve ever had.

I enjoy the Duncan Sheik. I also think he’s pretty. I missed Mari’s music, I hope she makes a comeback next month!

I agree, Nessa. He is quite pretty as well as talented. Mari will definitely be back. She was bit overwhelmed with school and dance this month so I didn’t push the song thing. She’s working on some Christmas stuff!
