Show Notes
It’s that time of year again… when we sit around and talk about Depeche Mode and call it a show! For you regulars, Neil finds a new guy attractive, and the fourth and final season of Battlestar Galactica keeps us on the edge of our seats. But the main focus is on the ever-lovin’ Mode. We talk to a special guest about her own personal Depeche Mode encounter, play some of our favorite Depeche Mode covers, delve into DM’s work in soundtracks and discuss our favorite B-sides and instrumentals. All this and Duran Duran takes a beating! Oh, snap!

Listen in to hear some of our favorite musicians put their personal twist on Depeche Mode songs. Featuring Duncan Sheik, Pat MacDonald and Flunk.

All original Depeche Mode songs in this episode were played with the understanding that Apple has an agreement with music companies that allows podcasters to play 30 second song clips in their shows. We in no way intend to infringe on the copyright of this music. We love you, Depeche Mode!

On the Flickr front… you could create a Flickr group, and then folks with accounts can add pics themselves. ‘Course I don’t have any DM ticket stubs, but still…

Your show is silly. I likey.

I don’t have any Depeche Mode tickets to offer but of the few I have is one from Duncan Sheik in 1996. Had a total crush on that musicman.

Thanks, Bryan. I will do that. I wasn’t sure how that worked.

Hi Alden! Did that Daniel Brewer make you listen? Ha Ha! Glad you liked the show! I could always start another group for misc. ticket stubs. I have other bands in my collection, too. If you want to send a scan to our Gmail, I’ll put it up. I’ve not been lucky enough to see Duncan perform live… lucky boy!

PS – Does your mom know you are commenting on podcasts? I hear you are quite young…
