SOP 012 – The Best Christmas Podcast, Ever!

December 1, 2007

Show Notes
Christmastime is here… And what’s more Christmasy than Neil sharing fond memories of sleeping in a cardboard box? Laura goes all medieval with Fisher Price toys. Neil turns “Guys Neil Finds Attractive” into an abomination. Brew up some Christmas coffee and listen as the BSG “Razor” TV movie gets the Smith treatment. We share our wish lists, our favorite gifts ever, and play electronic music, blues, rock, a quirky girl singer, a pretty piano ditty and a trip hop string bass. Just try to keep your head from exploding as you absorb it all!

Note: Be sure to check back on December 16 for a special bonus episode!

Fabulous Christmas Show! Loved it, Neil’s opening music was just amazing, can I have a copy pleeeease? Want to add it to my unconventional festive collection. Anyway, great music in the show and loved hearing about BSG, we’ll be getting it in 2009 probably. As for Max Von Sydow – urgh, no thanks. Not even when he was dragged up as Ming the Merciless in Flash Gordon. Looking forward to the pre-Christmas (extra) show xx

Looking forward to the new podcast! Can’t wait to hear what trip hop string bass sounds like, LOL! Thanks for your prayers… Bob is hanging in there, and actually last night he seemed a bit more cheery. Guess the Steelers winning helped that. Have a great holiday season, and I’ll be in touch soon about December 30!

Hello and Merry Christmas to you three! 🙂 Normally I’m not one for Christmas carols (the sugar-coated ones, or the “sing it extra slowly to make it more dramatic” ones). But your mix of music was spot-on! The closing song was especially awesome and I’m going to find out if I can download it from iTunes UK. Your contest winner, wow, what an awesome story! Actually I enjoyed all the stories… great theme idea for this month! Mari, I hope that you get everything that you wish for this year.

Heather, thanks bunches! So glad you enjoyed it. I don’t think you can order Mich Gerber from iTunes UK. And he’s not at Amazon in this country, either. But I did find this link. I haven’t tried it. It seems to be UK, but might work:
