Show Notes
There’s a chill in the air… and turkeys beware! It’s November! This month Laura has a Stepford moment, but she’s feeling much better now. Mari leaves the piano behind (at least for this month) and shows us her guitar chops. We dive headfirst into a vat of holiday foods, and announce our FIRST CONTEST EVER! A listener discount treat, Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan’s solo album Hourglass, and the return of “Battlestar Galactica” – all in one delicious Thanksgiving episode. Boom-Chicka-Bow-Wow!

Thanks for another excellent podcast! As always, great chit-chat and music. Congrats Mari on learning to play the guitar!
Laura, thanks for the pepparkakor recipe… I might try this myself this year. Max is feeling better… for some reason limping a bit this morning but it’s still an improvement from Saturday. Best of luck with your Christmas contest; I can’t think of any particular gift to write about, so I’ll just enjoy listening to the other entries.

I keep forgetting to tell you and Neil… Stacy (rdwnggrl) introduced me to a newish (?) band: io echo. Maybe you’d like to check out their music – it might be “podcast-worthy” and they might like the publicity.
Their site is under construction but you hear can hear them at their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/jgvellum.

Outside the bird, crunchy is good. But not nearly as moist. I’m sorry. You guys are way off.
I just bought Neil’s song.

Heather, thanks for the band recommendation. I will check them out!
Jeff – you are so very wrong! Plus if your cook isn’t the most skilled, bacteria may be lurking. Yikes! Thanks for buying the song and supporting this lavish lifestyle we love so much!
